The buzz: Stalwart spa favorite Iyara has opened a third location, this time bringing its pampering services to the lucky folks in the Mid-Levels. With a bakery, art gallery and now a spa, Prince’s Terrace is becoming quite the escalator hot spot.

The buzz: Caty is an accessories boutique on Caine Road that stocks mostly American accessories brands, many of which do not have their own outlets in the city. It was opened by Taiwan-born Chienie Tsai, who used to work for Dior and big Italian fashion brands before opening her own business. She also has plans to eventually open more branches.

S & I Bagels is a new takeaway (there are two or three little tables if you're looking to sit down) spot in Mid-levels West offering a wide range of bagels and cream cheeses as well as bagel sandwiches, shakes, soups, salads, cakes and cookies (upon one visit, we found them selling Filipino favorite Polvoron). Based on New York-style bagel joints, S & I freshly bakes a variation of bagels including your standard plain, poppy seed and onion bagels as well signature styles such as honey and grain, cinnamon raisin, and a cheese and jalap
