The adaptation of a Shigeru Mizuki’s classic Japanese manga GeGeGe no Kitaro, Kitaro is an entertaining film for fans who grew up with the cartoon and aren’t too demanding. Others might fail to see what the hoopla is all about despite the magnetic lead actor and colorful special effects.
