Japanese music video and commercial director Tetsuya Nakashima unleashes a huge arsenal of zaniness, employing non-linear scenes, characters that speak directly to the camera, manga animation and insightful commentary on aimless, modern Japanese consumerism. Then something happens: he decides to tell a story. Talk about committing hari-kari.
