In most parts, Tarsem Singh’s “Mirror Mirror” is a try-hard fantasy comedy underwhelmed by its over-exaggerated yet under-executed imagery. But it bears some semi-redeemable qualities, such as that Julia Roberts does at least prove that she is no longer the prettiest woman of them all.
