Category IIB. You might expect “Deception” to have strong appeal to a Hong Kong audience. Firstly, it’s about overworked bankers and lawyers. Secondly, it suggests overworked bankers and lawyers don’t need to be undersexed. Thirdly, it’s got Maggie Q in it. But alas, no audience could enjoy this would-be erotic thriller, not even in a city that ranks as far down the Durex sex survey results as ours.
Balls of Fury isn’t the funniest movie ever, but it does deliver a few chuckles here and there.
This not-so-ballsy comedy kicks off with 12-year-old Randy Daytona (Dan Fogler) hitting rock bottom when he loses the finals of a ping-pong tournament to the East German contenders.
