(China) Every once in a while, a badass action star does a warmhearted film that involves kids—Vin Diesel, Jackie Chan and, most recently, The Rock. “The Pacifier,” “The Spy Next Door,” and “The Tooth Fairy”—somehow, these films weren’t successful. Luckily, Jet Li does it better in “Ocean Heaven,” where he plays a dying father caring for an autistic adult son. The film, though flawed in some ways, is genuine and moving. As well, Li has finally proved himself—not as a star—but as an actor.
