Spa for Ma

Facing Forward
The Hyatt Regency Sha Tin’s Melo Spa has launched a promotion that lasts throughout the month of May. Moms will be treated to a 75-minute facial by French skincare brand Payot, and when they leave the spa, they’ll be presented with a Payot hand cream and a floral gift by the hotel’s florist, Blooms n’ Blossoms. The “Queen of the Month” promotion costs $1,190.
18 Chak Cheung St., Sha Tin, 3723-1234.

Weekday Escape
This isn’t a promotion specifically for Mother’s Day, but we liked it so much we decided to include it. From now until July 31, this weekday deal at the Grand Hyatt’s Plateau spa lets you enjoy a 60-minute massage followed by a swanky, five-tier afternoon tea set in the Tiffin Lounge, all for $1,000 per head. There are some restrictions though: the massage must be taken between 1pm and 6pm, and the tea is available from 3:30pm to 5:30pm.
1 Harbour Rd., Wan Chai, 2588-1234.

Tea for Two
The Mira Hotel’s ultra-modern spa has laid on a special mother-and-daughter package that includes a tea set by their subterranean spa pool, followed by a pomegranate body scrub, your choice of either a massage or a bespoke facial, and then either a manicure or pedicure. The spa day is priced at $2,950 for two and includes a mini facial set from UK brand Elemental Herbology.
118 Nathan Rd., Tsim Sha Tsui, 2315-5500.

Spa Selection
The Spa at the Mandarin Oriental has not one, but four mother’s day promotions to choose from. If mom’s not a day spa kinda gal, try the “Yummy Mummy” package ($1,175) which takes place at the Mandarin Salon. Mom will be treated to a scalp treatment, followed by a professional blow-dry. Also included is a glass of champagne and a mini-manicure. All deals are on from now until May 31.
24/F, Mandarin Oriental, 5 Connaught Rd., Central, 2825-4888.
