Art Statements and Gaffer are pretty proud that four of their own artists will be exhibited at the 2013 Venice Biennale—one of the world's most prestigious art fairs—and want to celebrate by displaying their work this month in Hong Kong. Photographer Alison Cahill left her graphic design desk job in 2010 and bought a one-way ticket to Thailand, bouncing between NGO work at a bear sanctuary in Cambodia and conservation work with elephants and simians in Borneo. The works on display should impress both admirers and newcomers to Cocteau, including...

Photographer Dominique Laugé takes gorgeous photographs of stunning landscapes the world over, with a special interest in the way that meteor impacts have shaped some of Earth's most surreal terrain. Shots from a trip he made in 2012 to the dry, shifty Taklamakan Desert in Northwestern China are a notable highlight here, as are his still life works that play with the different effects of natural light.
