Three Filipino electronic artists, Tarsius, Similar Objects and Modulogeek, are bringing some new experimental sounds to the city. Get ready for some radical mashups of different genres, including ambient, lo-fi, glitch, hip-hop, and electro-rock. The Mira will be hosting a live jam at its lobby lounge bar, featuring local indie band Bella Elektra. The band's saxophonist Oscar Azahar and trumpet player Michal Garcia will be joining forces with The Mira's resident vocalist Freedom Forever to perform.

As part of Hidden Agenda's 4th anniversary celebrations, Texan four-piece This Will Destroy You will take to the stage. Also known as TWDY, the band plays instrumental and post-rock, garnering critical acclaim and a considerable fanbase. Disclaimer: the music may, in fact, Destroy You. Addendum: It probably won't.

Ian Anderson's the frontman of British prog rockers Jethro Tull, and he's best known for capering about on one leg while playing the flute. He's gracing Hong Kong with his presence 20 years after his last performance here. The band started in 1967, and moved from blues rock to experimental crazy stuff as time went by. Always with some one-legged flute. Fun fact: the band were named for the 17th-centruy agriculturalist who invented the seed drill.
