The winner of the EcoChic People’s award will receive a once in a lifetime chance experience to soak up the UK’s sustainable fashion scene on a 10-day trip where they will meet numerous British sustainable fashion designers and attend London’s fashion week’s Estethica. The victor will also get to tour London’s most inspiring museums--one being the Fashion and textiles museum--allowing the winner to expand his or her creativity and understanding of sustainable fashion.

The competition will take place over five months, providing designers with sustainable design tools preceding a final runway show at Hong Kong fashion week 2012 in July. The winners will go on to design a sustainable design collection for Esprit using recycled textiles.

The three awards to be given are:

  1. The EcoChic Design Award: The winner will get the chance to design a sustainable collection for Esprit, made using recycled textiles and an educational fashion tour of London.
  2. The EcoChic People’s Award: The winner will be voted online by the public and will go on an educational fashion tour of London.
  3. The EcoChic Most Promising Student Award: The winner of this award will win a free trip to Shanghai Fashion Week.

You can vote for your winner online by registering here and voting closes on July 1st, 2012.
