This year, the Hong Kong Cancer Fund is promoting the importance that breast cancer, especially if caught early, is not a death sentence.

Hong Kong Cancer Fund is raising money and accepting donations towards their free comprehensive breast cancer support services. With a small donation of $100 or more, you can sponsor a Pink Recovery Pack that goes to the bedside of breast cancer sufferers who have just undergone surgery and receive the iconic Pink Ribbon and a cute bear clip as token of appreciation.

Pink Revolution is also inviting the entire community to participate in this year’s breast cancer awareness month by getting involved with their events. Friday, October 26 is Dress Pink Day in which Pink Revolution is encouraging everyone to wear pink or to host a “Pink Party” to raise awareness.

If you prefer to get more creative with your donations, stores and companies throughout town are launching special products to help raise money for breast cancer. Body Shop is selling a special edition Hello Kitty x Pink Revolution charm for $128, where all proceeds will be donated to Hong Kong Cancer Fund’s breast cancer care services. They will also have a range of fragrance and body care products where portions of sales will also be donated.

Other offers include specially designed Pink home appliances from Zojirushi, desserts from PizzaExpress, a Minx mani/pedi from 10/10 Space, an elegant bouquet of mini pink roses from agnès b., golf shoes from ECCO, a haircut on Dress Pink Day from Kim Robinson, and a beautiful Jade Coin Bracelet from Shanghai Tang.
