Idol: My musical idol is Mozart, and my idols in life are my mother and my grandparents. They’re like Gandhi, in their own sort of way.
Reading: The last book I read was fantastic - “The Celestine Prophecy” by James Redfield.
Listening: Radiohead, Janis Joplin, Otis Reading and many others…
Worst gig: At one rave, the generator kept acting up, making the possibility of a decent mix bleak. I had nearly a thousand people shouting slurs at me thinking I didn’t know how to play! I stopped the sound and shouted badly at all of them. They were quite surprised.
In your pocket: Phone, $40, some cigarettes, lighter, keys, name cards and a few condoms.
Stupidest trend: The stupidest trend I have seen is myself drunk in Hong Kong.
On the Hong Kong music scene: Too commercial – you know, things I’ll change.
All-time favorite track: Mozart’s “Lacrimosa” from The Requiem.
Favorite punter: Those trying to make love to me for free.
On childhood: I was a strange one for sure! And I am still the same - a crazy child living in a world full of adults.
In 20 years: If not dead, still organizing parties. And if I win enough money, I’ll produce the movie I always dreamed of.
Day job: Composer, sound designer and sound engineer. And maybe some day a movie director.
Question to ask yourself: If I came back from the future, I wouldn’t ask a question - I would just advise myself.
Last punch: At my cousin’s wedding. For personal reasons.
