Way up high on the 28th floor, this stylish bar has killer views, deadly cocktails and its very own outdoor oasis called The Pavilion which has frothy water fountains, glowing lanterns, hooded love seats and stepping stones across tranquil pools. It’s members only but you can join on arrival and it’s free. If you’re hungry, bag an alfresco table by the poolside and tuck into some wagyu beef skewers with Caribbean jerk rub ($138) or munch on some calamari rings with wasabi sauce ($98).

The Backyard
A 6,000 square foot outdoor paradise with oversized beanbags, sweet scented mango trees, chill-out music and a waterfall. You can enjoy three hours of free-flowing champagne, wine, spirits, beer and pizza for $388 or watch the World Cup on the giant outdoor screen and enjoy a beer with nachos for $98 (until July 11).

Squishy sofas and chill-out tunes make this one of the mellowest rooftop bars in town. It also offers some great views of the city.

The Mira Hotel recently unveiled a venue for drinks even more svelte than Room One (their inner courtyard), literally one-upping themselves with a stunning secret garden in a spacious outdoor area with sofas, ponds, canopied cabanas, fragrant frangipani and giant lotuses of brush steel.

Isobar
The large outdoor terrace at Isola and the adjoining Isobar upstairs is a fantastic spot for pre- or post-dinner drinks. The waterfront location means you get the best harborview. It’s the perfect backdrop for enjoying one of their 200+ wines.

Pier 7
The Star Ferry’s Pier Seven has been transformed into a laid-back café and bar with an outdoor terrace that provides a breathtaking new angle of the IFC building. The spacious alfresco patio is very relaxed and civilized with the periodic chiming of the clock tower providing an excellent reminder that it’s your last round before you miss the ferry.

Eye Bar
Situated on the 30th-floor of the iSQUARE shopping center, Eye Bar offers a breathtaking view of the Hong Kong Island skyline. The bar has an alfresco lounge area, as well as indoor seating for hot or rainy days.
