The buzz: This new bar is the latest hotspot for Wyndham's night owls. Located at 55 Wyndham Street, the bar made great use of its two-story structure to provide varying vibes. While revelers can dance the night away on the ground floor, the cozy lounge upstairs is open for others to chill. The clever arrangement makes all sorts of nights out possible.

The décor: Don’t be mistaken by the ever-changing azure/fuschia neon lights at the door: Pulp is not as much of a clubbing bar as it seems. The metallic glass frames, charcoal floor, wood-paneled walls, U-shaped electric blue leather sofa booths and abstract canvas print paintings with vibrant colors make Pulp stand out that much more. There's also a patio for those who need an occasional puff in the night. But make sure you reserve one of the tables beforehand to avoid standing all evening.

The drinks: Aside from the standard fine wines, spirits, beers and ales, Pulp’s fresh fruit cocktails are definitely worth a try. We recommend the pulped fruit daiquiri (rum, strawberries, raspberries and blueberries) and Passion Punch (Royal Dragon vodka, passion fruit, spiced rum, pineapples)—perfect for the summery weather. For something even more saccharine, the Chelsea Cobbler (gin, dry sherry, pineapple, orange, maraschino) and Crème Brulee (rum, frangelico, cacao, cream, ice cream, Baileys) might satisfy your sweet tooth.

The food: As a bar under the Café Deco Group, Pulp definitely has an advantage when it comes to snacks and finger foods. Heads up on their braised beef meatballs, Thai shrimp cakes and chicken satay. For something a little different, try the chicken tikka savory tart.

Why you'll be back: Mark down your Mondays for Industry Nights (happy hour prices all night for airline and hospitality staff), Thursdays for Fashion Nights (meet-and-greet for upcoming designers) and Fridays for free-flow champagne ($388 for unlimited champagne on the first floor only, 5pm to 8pm).
