Sabatini Bruschetta
Grissini
The restaurant that started it all, Grissini is often referred to as Hong Kong’s first high-end Italian joint. The authentic Italian fare by chef Marco Torre is known to be some of the best in town.

8 ½ Otto e Mezzo
The latest dining venture by chef Umberto Bombana (formerly of Ritz Carlton fame). The food is expertly executed and the handmade pastas (order the signature burrata cheese ravioli) and seafood dishes (lobster cassoulet with sea urchin) are particularly stellar.

The Drawing Room
This place earned a Michelin star in its first year, and for good reason too. The food by master chef Rolland Schuller is nothing but delicious. The trio of wagyu (ox tongue, beef cheek, short rib) is yum. We also wax lyrical about the pan-fried brioche, served with ice cream.

This restaurant does contemporary Italian in a beautiful glass house environ. They also host regular wine pairing dinners, which are worth checking out.

Osteria
Chef Michele Camolei’s simple, homestyle Italian fare is a favorite with many Italian expats. The pastas are all made according to authentic recipe. Starters are especially great, with the Ligurian octopus salad with green beans and basil pesto being particularly mention-worthy.

Awesome Italian food + stunning harbor view = Angelini. The dishes are made with imported Italian ingredients to keep things as authentic as possible. Seafood dishes are particularly good.

The beautiful alfresco seating area is perpetually packed. The antipasti lunch buffet is a favorite with the business-types working nearby. A must-try is the thin n’ crispy Neapolitan pizza.
