Happy Birthday, Aqua! September 10 marks the 10th anniversary of the very first Aqua restaurant on Hollywood Road—how fast time flies, the group has gone from one innovative restaurant to having 20 around the world, plus a boutique hotel (Hullett House) under their wings. To celebrate the special day, the group has launched a month-long celebration, from Sep 10 to Oct 10, where ten chefs from the Aqua Group have come up with ten dishes to celebrate the occasion. The dishes include Italian (Adriatic sea scallops with Italian cheese fonduta and Alba white truffle), Japanese (Kobe beef, anago sea eel and Akashi octopus) and French (Pur Caraibe chocolate and tonka mousse layered with crunchy hazelnut, salted caramel and raspberry pearl). Order one of these dishes at the Aqua outlets in Hong Kong this month and you also get a free glass of bubbly to celebrate with the group. The highlight of the celebration will be on October 9, when a grand gala dinner featuring all ten dishes will be held in at Hullett House.
