This coffee and dessert bar is located in a grand and sparse space near the top of Langham Place. Honestly, we were expecting something more local and colorful in a district like Mong Kok, and were surprised by the generous gaps between each table and the understated colors of the whole interior. Lots of white, and lots of light, bright furniture.

Amici brings a breath of fresh air to the traditionally ghetto dining scene in the Mong Kok area. Located on the 13th floor of Langham Place, it’s a spacious restaurant with simple red and white décor, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows on one side with a vertigo-inducing view for diners. The specialty here is pizza and pasta, with a few Thai appetizers best ordered as bar snacks. Each of our dishes was great value for money—the pork ravioli with black truffle oil was flavorful and filling, and the rib-eye cooked just right.
